The interrogation of Mr. Bernanke by Congressioonal members is grandstanding in an election year. The questions put forth to the esteemed Chair by most of those on the panel are elementary, probably the level of understanding of economics by most Americans. These are the same politicians who have saddled America with such huge governmental spending and budget deficits.
The beat goes on while the dollar gets hammered overseas.
